Boys Volleyball
The 2012 Stallions Boys Volleyball program is coming off of a rebuilding year. However, with only 3 returning players the program managed to record their first post-season victory, beating Dublin Jerome in 4 games. This year the program will return quite a few experienced players including: Charles Chandler, Middle Hitter; Keegan Crawford, Setter; Mitchell Mayer, Defense. In addition we have a huge freshmen class with many experienced players and some great athletes. As has been the case over the first three seasons, we expect to be adding some of the best athletes in the school to the roster who are new to the sport.
This season the Boys Volleyball program will continue to play in the Central Ohio Volleyball League. We will have challenging home and home series with Watterson and St. Charles. The team will also be playing all three Westerville High Schools in the spring.
During the pre-season, athletes that are not involved in a fall or winter sport will have the opportunity to participate in a preseason weight training and conditioning program. The program is designed specifically for boys volleyball players to encourage injury prevention while increasing strength, vertical jump and flexibility. Pre-season conditioning starts in January and leads up to the season starting at the end of February.
The Boys Volleyball Program at DeSales has One All-State player and multiple All-Region and All-League players in only three seasons.

Incoming Freshmen Activities
Incoming freshmen will receive information regarding summer and pre-season activities for boys volleyball players upon acceptance to Saint Francis DeSales HS.
Iincoming freshmen will have the opportunity to participate in an indoor summer league for high school teams held at Ultimate Sports Center. At the 2011 Summer league the Stallions place second! Student–athletes will also have the opportunity to play sand volleyball at designated courts in the area. These sessions are a great way to learn the game, increased conditioning, and have fun.

Summer Camp
The 2012 Summer Volleyball Camp will be held in June, 2012.
Boys Volleyball camp is an evening camp open to all boys that completed grades 3-8.
Camp registrations are available on the school website in the spring.
