Financial Aid Opportunities
Available to St. Francis DeSales Students
Diocesan Grants
Funds are available through the Legacy of Learning Fund from the Catholic Diocese for Catholic and non-Catholic students. There is an application fee. Determinations are based on financial need and circumstances. Families are notified of grant awards in June. The grants are credited to tuition accounts over a six month period, December through May. Anyone withdrawing from the school prior to December will not receive any grant monies. Those withdrawing after December will be credited grant monies on a pro-rata basis. Application for these grants must be made online at www.factstuitionaid.com and submitted electronically by March 15, 2012. Additional Diocese of Columbus Tuition Assistance information available here. For information in Spanish, please click here.
St. Francis DeSales Grant-in-Aid Program
All students planning to attend St. Francis DeSales High School for the 2012-2013 school year may also apply for tuition assistance directly from the school. Funds are limited to families who have a demonstrated need and are only granted to those who complete the financial aid application and submit it with the required documents prior to the March 15, 2012 deadline.
Summer Work Program
The summer work program is available to a limited number of incoming freshman and sophomore students who are capable and available to work 7:30am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday for two consecutive weeks during the summer break. Both office, and general maintenance work is available. A tuition credit is earned and then applied to the students tuition. Selection is based on availibility and the families demonstrated financial need. As above, the attached questionnaire and required documents must be submitted to the Finance Office by March 15, 2012.
Sibling Discounts
Discounts are offered to families who have more than one child currently enrolled in the high school.
