Academics

Designated by the U.S. Department of Education twice as an Exemplary Blue Ribbon School, St. Francis DeSales High School boasts of a curriculum that is not ony innovative, but also challenging to students at all academic levels. With a nine period day, students can mix Theology, English, Math, Science and Social Studies with elective courses in the areas of business and both the performing and visual arts.

St. Francis DeSales High School is proud to offer 15 Advanced Placement (AP) courses.  Juniors and seniors may elect to take these courses, giving them the opportunity to gain college credit before graduation.  In addition to the Advanced Placement courses offered, college credit can also be earned through participation in the Dual Enrollment program (Project Jumpstart) with the Ohio Dominican University.
